Role Overview
As a Senior Change Management Engineer, you will lead and coordinate engineering change activities, ensuring changes are strictly controlled through robust governance, effective stakeholder engagement, and clear communication. You will influence design, configuration, and acceptance outcomes across a multidisciplinary environment while driving continuous improvement and operational readiness.
Core Duties
Drive the coordination of engineering change activity, maintaining clear oversight of risks, dependencies, and delivery statuses.
Ensure engineering changes are robustly controlled using accurate tracking tools and plans that offer visibility into progress and impacts.
Support the delivery of design changes by contributing to development, configuration control, governance, and safety compliance.
Act as a key point of coordination across stakeholders, facilitating decisions, aligning priorities, and resolving engineering queries efficiently.
Participate in reviews, readiness assessments, and progress monitoring to ensure timely and successful implementation of design changes.
Essential Skills & Requirements
Core Knowledge: Sound understanding of engineering change, configuration management, and systems engineering principles.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence in influencing decisions and presenting technical data clearly.
Technical Tools: Experience using planning, reporting, and engineering tools to track performance and support robust governance.
Qualifications: An engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent experience) with an interest in achieving or working towards professional registration.
Security Clearance: Must achieve a minimum of Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
