Support Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with leading employment and skills programmes to connect exceptional educators with communities that need them most. We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Employability Skills Trainer to join the Restart team in Cardiff.
In this vital role, you will help deliver meaningful learning that boosts confidence, builds practical skills, and supports people into sustainable employment. Your work will directly shape opportunities for individuals across Cardiff, helping create a positive learning environment and a more confident future for participants.
Training Delivery: Deliver engaging employability skills to cohorts of learners through face-to-face workshops, online learning platforms, and remote systems.
Workshops & 1-to-1 Support: Lead dynamic group sessions, interactive workshops, and targeted one-to-one mentoring as required.
Progress Tracking: Complete formative diagnostics of learner progress to ensure participants stay on track toward gaining employment.
Individual Development: Work closely with Employment Coaches to design individual development plans and provide effective Careers Education, Information, Advice, and Guidance (CEIAG).
Material Development: Contribute to the creation, review, and enhancement of high-quality learning resources to optimize the learner experience.
Collaboration & Marketing: Coordinate and market programmes to boost engagement, maintaining strong communication across learning and partner networks.
Qualifications: A minimum Level 3 teaching or employability qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience delivering employability programmes, adult education, or welfare-to-work training.
Teaching Methods: Strong knowledge and practical application of both face-to-face and online teaching methods.
Empathy & Motivation: The ability to motivate unemployed participants with empathy, clarity, care, and professionalism.
Organizational Skills: Excellent communication, planning, and organizational abilities to manage diverse cohorts.
