Bank Registered Nurse

Exemplar Health Care is recruiting a Bank Registered Nurse for Birch View, its brand new nursing home in Radford, Coventry. The home has 38 en-suite bedrooms across three small units and supports adults living with acquired brain injuries, complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities. The advert lists the position as RGN / RMN / RNLD and notes they are looking for a Registered Learning Disability Nurse.

What you would do:

• Assess, plan and deliver person-centred nursing care
• Administer medication safely
• Act as Nurse in Charge of a small unit on your shift
• Respond to and manage behaviours of concern
• Promote health, wellbeing, choice, dignity and independence

What they ask for:

• First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN
• A calm approach to challenging situations and the ability to coach colleagues
• Clinical skills and knowledge of assessment, admission and discharge
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
