About the Role

As a permanent Senior Care Assistant at Cedars Care Home, you will look after the diverse needs of our residents to ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care and support.

In this leadership role, you will supervise and inspire a dedicated team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You will also support the clinical team in specialized areas such as medication administration, assessments, care plans, or care reviews—always championing resident dignity and helping create a warm, vibrant home environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver high standards of person-centred care.

• Support the clinical team with specific responsibilities, including medication management, care plans, risk assessments, and reviews.

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on personal care while respecting individual resident dignity and preferences.

• Help maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for residents, families, and staff.

• Work collaboratively on a permanent full-time contract (36 hours per week).

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.

• Experience: Specific knowledge and background in clinical care for the elderly.
