About this role
Sanctuary Care is recruiting a Care Team Leader for night shifts at Forefaulds Care Home in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, about eight miles from Glasgow. Sanctuary Care is a not-for-profit care home provider.
As a Care Team Leader you would:
- Support residents' wellbeing and help them feel at home
- Deliver personalised care in line with each resident's care plan
- Make leisure and social activities part of every day
- Guide Care Assistants and support their development
Sanctuary asks for experience in care, with an NVQ3 or SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent being desirable. You should communicate clearly, work flexibly, enjoy teamwork and have a real interest in older people and treating everyone with dignity.
The post is 33 hours per week on nights and pays £15.45 per hour. Sanctuary lists 28 days' annual leave pro rata including bank holidays, occupational sick pay linked to service, a contributory pension, a Care Inspectorate inspection bonus, virtual GP access and an employee assistance programme, company-paid life insurance, company-funded training including a Team Leader Development Programme, free meals depending on shift length, and retail discounts. Some rewards depend on a qualifying period. A PVG check is needed and Sanctuary pays for it. The advert may close early.
