About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent, full-time Senior Care Assistant to join the day leadership team at Bluebell Park Care Home in Derby.
In this pivotal supervisory role, you will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to inspire, guide, and support a team of dedicated Care Assistants. You will also take responsibility for key clinical support areas—such as medication administration, care assessments, and care plan reviews—ensuring exceptional, person-centred care in a warm and vibrant home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, mentor, and motivate Care Assistants on full-time day shifts.
Support the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, and care plan updates.
Ensure person-centred care that respects the dignity, choices, and preferences of all residents.
Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and positive atmosphere across the home.
About You
To join us as a Senior Care Assistant, you will bring:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific practical knowledge and experience in clinical care for older adults.
A warm-hearted, compassionate personality with strong team leadership abilities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
