Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with leading community leisure trusts to connect dedicated individuals with rewarding roles. We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Cleaner to join the team at Bletchley Leisure Centre on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT).
In this vital part-time role, you will help create a clean, safe, friendly, and welcoming environment where the local community can enjoy active, healthy lifestyles. Your work directly supports visitor wellbeing, ensuring everyone feels comfortable, cared for, and proud of the spaces they use.
As a Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning Standards: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the building at all times.
Safety & Compliance: Carry out cleaning duties safely, adhering strictly to health and safety procedures and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) requirements.
Schedules & Checklists: Follow cleaning schedules and complete all required checklists accurately.
Reporting & Stock: Report any cleaning issues, maintenance concerns, or stock replenishment needs to the line manager.
Equipment Care: Inspect, use, clean, and store cleaning equipment safely while promoting good housekeeping and sustainability practices.
Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning role or the demonstrated ability to succeed in a cleaning environment.
Customer Skills: Good communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach.
Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Safety Awareness: Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace.
In addition to checking eligibility to work in the UK, candidates will complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to help identify and provide any necessary support for the role.
