Care Team Leader

In this key leadership role, you will supervise shifts and work alongside Care Assistants to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centered support. You will collaborate closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the home's leadership team to manage care plans, oversee medication administration, and maintain a fun, inclusive, and professional atmosphere for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise care shifts, delegate tasks effectively, and work directly alongside Care Assistants to support daily resident needs.

• Manage resident care plans, perform risk assessments, and liaise with families and medical professionals to maintain high care standards.

• Administer and document medications safely in accordance with established regulatory and health guidelines.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) along with proven experience leading and supervising a team.

• Strong organizational and IT skills with a good understanding of care planning processes.

• Willingness or experience in administering medication, paired with a compassionate, resident-centered approach.
