Role Overview
Position: Housekeeper
Location: Marston Court, Marston Road, Oxford, OX3 0DJ
Pay Rate: £13.14 per hour (NVQ and weekend enhancements available)
Contract Type: Permanent, 16 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 4-hour shifts (includes alternate weekend working)
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026
About Marston Court
Set in peaceful, beautifully tended grounds with an enclosed quiet garden, Marston Court offers compassionate, individualised residential, early-stage dementia, and respite care for up to 39 residents in Oxfordshire, with good bus routes into Oxford city centre.
What You Will Be Doing
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all rooms and living spaces to ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
Acting as a champion for infection control, utilizing specialised equipment and materials.
Interacting warmly with residents, some of whom may love to join in with simple cleaning and laundry tasks!
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is a bonus, but not essential—full training is provided if you are new to the profession!
Key Traits: Comfortable working in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity, taking great pride in your work.
