Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a resilient, confident, and trusted Deputy Store Manager in South Ruislip, London. In this key leadership role, you will be cool, calm, and collected, getting stuck in on the shop floor and behind the scenes.
From managing cash processes and monitoring stock integrity to inspiring your colleagues, you will play a huge part in creating a place where you and your team can do your best work. You will also enjoy great responsibility while the Store Manager is absent, taking ownership of the store and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Role Modeling: Set a spectacular example for the store team and customers while supporting colleagues through every shift.
Store Management: Independently manage store operations, deliveries, till areas, and KPIs in the absence of the Store Manager.
Team Development: Motivate and support your team, fostering an environment where everyone can thrive.
Customer Service & Compliance: Be a friendly face for customers, offering excellent service, and competently complying with all Health and Safety laws and guidelines.
What You’ll Need
Proven management experience leading and developing a team in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to assist colleagues and customers in a friendly, open manner.
A natural knack for time management, task delegation, and problem-solving.
The confidence to monitor, manage, and improve store key performance indicators (KPIs).
