In this key supervisory role, you will lead shifts and work directly alongside Care Assistants to deliver exceptional, person-centered support. You will collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and care home leadership to manage resident cases, oversee medication administration, carry out risk assessments, and ensure residents maintain maximum independence and activity levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shifts, delegate duties effectively, and support Care Assistants in delivering daily care.

• Case-manage residents, perform risk assessments, and liaise with families and medical professionals to create tailored care plans.

• Safely administer and record medications while maintaining high standards of clinical and operational compliance.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) with proven leadership and shift management experience.

• Strong organizational, IT, and delegation skills with a thorough understanding of care planning.

• Experience in medication administration (or willingness to complete training) and a passion for resident-centered care.
