Counsellor - Mindplace (Face to Face)

Bupa is looking for a Counsellor or Psychotherapist to deliver face-to-face sessions at its Mindplace clinic in Edgbaston, Birmingham. You will provide safe, effective short, medium or longer-term counselling to Bupa customers, working independently and within a multi-disciplinary clinical team.

What you would do:

• Carry out assessments and formulations and deliver evidence-based counselling or brief interventions
• Follow Bupa's case management processes and session limits
• Signpost or refer clients onwards where needed
• Offer one-off wellbeing support, coaching and group psychoeducation
• Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings

What they ask for:

• BACP accreditation, NCPS Professional Accredited registration or UKCP registration, held at the time of applying
• Three years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience
• Adult mental health experience and confidence using Microsoft and electronic record systems
• Good caseload, diary and time management

Hours: full time, with part-time available (minimum two days a week). Sessions run Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 or 14:00-22:00, plus weekends 08:30-17:00 at least one in three, with five appointments a day.
