Hallmark Care Homes, a family-run provider of luxury care homes, is looking for a Care Assistant to join the team at Regency House in Cardiff. You will help residents live each day to the full, giving personal care and support with dignity and respect.
What you would do:
- Provide personal care and support to residents
- Help with daily activities such as dressing, bathing and mealtimes
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the home
- Communicate clearly with residents, families and colleagues
- Support residents to live fulfilling and independent lives
What they ask for: an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is an advantage but not essential. Hallmark says it values compassion, dedication and a genuine interest in residents and their families most, and offers tailored training to build your skills.
The role is permanent at 33 hours per week, with pay of £13.45. Hallmark states it is a Real Living Wage employer (or above) and lists annual pay reviews, enhanced pay for working bank holidays, a joining bonus in some homes, a refer-a-friend scheme of up to £1,000, a Westfield cash back plan, a pension, life assurance, optional healthcare, Hallmark Rewards discounts, free uniform and a free Blue Light Card, plus induction and ongoing training.
