As a Vetting & Onboarding Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth, compliant, and positive onboarding journey for every new starter. Operating in a fast-paced environment based in Liverpool with hybrid working flexibility, you will manage end-to-end onboarding and security vetting processes.
This is an impactful position where your meticulous attention to detail and strong administrative skills ensure regulatory compliance while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Vetting & Security Clearances: Process comprehensive security clearances, including BPSS, UKSV, Home Office, and MOJ checks.
Criminal Record & Right to Work: Coordinate criminal record checks, verify right to work documentation, and support visa processes in line with UKVI requirements.
Occupational Health & Offers: Set up and monitor Occupational Health checks while managing onboarding milestones, such as issuing employment offers and contracts.
Data Integrity & Audits: Check document and data accuracy meticulously, maintaining HR systems, managing file audits, and executing regular data cleansing to prevent delays.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external bodies (such as UKSV, DBS, and Home Office departments), verifying IDs and securing references.
Compliance Standards: Ensure all processes strictly adhere to company compliance frameworks and GDPR regulations while addressing queries from employees and managers.

Administrative Experience: Strong general administration experience backed by exceptionally high attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency: Experience managing data across multiple systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills across various channels.
Prioritisation & Organization: Proven ability to manage workloads efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance to start (including a basic criminal record check).
Desirable Criteria: Prior knowledge of UK right to work/visa processes, understanding of screening/vetting procedures, or experience in HR, recruitment, or onboarding administration.
Financial Package: Competitive starting salary of £24,500 pro-rata.
