ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Night Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare’s Sherwood Lodge Care Home, you will work on a flexible, casual basis to help residents receive person-centred care during night shifts. You will assist with daily living needs, offer reassuring companionship, and help create a safe, peaceful environment throughout the night.
Core Responsibilities:
Night-Time Resident Care: Assist residents with personal care, overnight support, and individual care plans.
Companionship & Comfort: Provide attentive, reassuring care and dedicate quality one-to-one time to residents.
Nutritional Support: Assist residents with evening/overnight food and hot drinks as needed.
Dynamic Care Support: Undertake varied tasks across night shifts to uphold individual dignity and high care standards.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a warm-hearted, empathetic Care Assistant with prior experience in elderly care and a positive, can-do attitude.
Requirements & Experience:
Experience: Previous experience caring for older adults in a care setting.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
