About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent Night Care Assistant to join the overnight care team at Newton House Care Home in Grantham.
In this vital overnight role, you will ensure our residents receive attentive, dignified, and person-centred care throughout the night. Working night shifts, you will assist with bedtime and morning routines, conduct regular safety and wellbeing checks, respond promptly to call bells, and offer reassuring companionship whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality personal care, mobility assistance, and night-time support according to individual care plans.
Conduct regular night checks to ensure resident comfort, safety, and security.
Respond quickly and compassionately to resident call bells and night-time needs.
Maintain clear, accurate care logs and participate in shift handovers with the day team.
Help maintain a quiet, peaceful, and reassuring environment for all residents.
About You

Previous experience caring for older adults (in a professional or personal capacity).
