Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Priory Halifax Drive to recruit dedicated, compassionate, and attentive Bank Support Workers for Waking Night shifts to join our team in Leicester.

Located within a pleasant residential neighborhood off a main road, Halifax Drive is a large, vibrant residential service supporting 33 male and female adults who have a learning disability, many of whom are also on the autistic spectrum.

Our team is entirely dedicated to improving the health, safety, and psychological wellbeing of the individuals we care for—helping them live a fun, meaningful life that they remain in full control of. Our waking night team ensures that this safe environment of dignity, respect, and choice carries through seamlessly 24 hours a day.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bank Waking Night Support Worker, you will function as an essential key worker, providing direct support to enable our residents to live their best lives. Your key responsibilities include:

Nighttime Person-Centred Care: Providing high-quality personal care and assisting residents with essential daily living tasks as required throughout the night.
Empowerment & Goals: Actively functioning as a key worker to support service users in achieving their personal outcomes, tracking progress, and encouraging choice and independence.
Care Administration: Maintaining absolute accuracy when updating charts, logging daily notes, and recording milestones on personalized care plans.
Building Connections: Cultivating excellent professional relationships and a safe rapport with service users, visiting families, and daytime/nighttime colleagues.
Safety & Security: Strictly upholding all safety, security, and confidentiality standards in absolute alignment with organizational policies and regulations.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

While supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism is deeply rewarding, it requires genuine psychological resilience, attentiveness, and high empathy. No two nights are exactly the same!

Core Attributes: A naturally caring, respectful, friendly, and compassionate approach to helping vulnerable individuals.
Mindset: The capability to think innovatively, adapt to nocturnal service challenges, and work with high flexibility.
Skills & Experience: Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Prior experience in care or support environments is highly desirable, but not essential—full comprehensive training is proudly provided.
