About the Role

We are recruiting a part-time Laundry Assistant for a permanent position at Chater Lodge Care Home in Stamford.

In this important role, you will help make sure residents feel comfortable and at home by providing a reliable, high-quality laundry service. You will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing, and neatly sorting clothing and bedding to ensure residents always have fresh items ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, and iron clothing and linen according to care home guidelines.

• Ensure all personal clothing items are returned safely and promptly to the correct residents.

• Support the overall hygiene and smooth running of the laundry room.

• Work closely with the housekeeping and care teams to maintain high standards across the home.
