About the Role
As a Bank Housekeeping Assistant, you will step in during planned or unplanned staff absences (such as annual leave or sickness), carrying out essential cleaning and housekeeping duties to ensure the care home remains clean, safe, and pleasant for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Upkeep: Perform a variety of domestic tasks, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing resident rooms and communal areas.
Environment Maintenance: Help maintain a warm, spotless, and homely atmosphere that enhances resident wellbeing and infection control.
Team Collaboration: Work alongside the housekeeping and care home staff to ensure high hygiene standards across every shift.
Resident Interaction: Interact warmly and respectfully with residents and their families while carrying out daily duties.
About You
No prior housekeeping or care home experience is strictly required—we provide full training! We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:
