Assistant Chef

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for an Assistant Chef to join their team in Southampton, UK. The successful candidate will support the kitchen team in delivering an outstanding dining experience while maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

• Support the management of kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock control, and compliance with food safety standards.

• Assist in catering for seasonal events and work collaboratively to deliver an enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen with relevant food hygiene certification.

• Good knowledge of food safety practices, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines.

• Passion for cooking with strong teamwork and communication skills.
