Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit an experienced and passionate permanent Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join their multidisciplinary team at the Southwark service in Camberwell.
In this vital clinical role, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to service users experiencing complex physical health, mental health, and substance use challenges. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for therapeutic effectiveness while promoting health strategies, harm reduction, and BBV vaccination programmes.
Clinical Care & Assessment: Assess, diagnose, plan, and evaluate treatment and care interventions for service users presenting with complex needs.
Prescribing & Reviews: Prescribe and review medications in line with evidence-based practice, national/local protocols, and within your professional scope of practice.
Health Promotion & Triage: Prioritise health problems, handle urgent or emergency situations, and facilitate BBV vaccinations and lifestyle health strategies.
Record Keeping & Governance: Maintain accurate, contemporary records and participate actively in peer review, benchmarking, and annual appraisals.
Professional Registration: Qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration (minimum 2 years post-qualification experience) OR First-level registered nurse with a current PIN (minimum 3 years post-qualification experience).
NMP Qualification: Must be a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (V300 or equivalent).
Substance Misuse Experience: At least 1 year of recent, relevant experience working within substance misuse treatment.
Core Competencies: Sound knowledge of harm reduction, strong assessment and care planning skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. (Must hold the right to work in the UK; subject to an enhanced DBS check).
Annual Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 extra day for each year of service during the first five years (up to 30 days).
