Care Assistant

Sanctuary Care is looking for a Care Assistant for Forefaulds Care Home in East Kilbride, about eight miles from Glasgow, which cares for older people.

Full-time and part-time hours are available on day or night shifts, with alternate weekends worked as part of a rota.

What you would do:

• Work in a supportive team to enrich residents' lives
• Give personalised care in line with each resident's care plan
• Encourage and take part in leisure and social activities
• Treat residents, families and colleagues with kindness and respect

Pay is £13.45 per hour. Sanctuary lists 28 days' annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays), occupational sick pay linked to service, a contributory pension, a CQC/CI inspection bonus, health and wellbeing support including virtual GP appointments and an Employee Assistance Programme, company-paid life insurance, company-funded training, flexible working options, free meals depending on shift length, and retail discounts. Some rewards have a qualifying period.
