About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is delighted to partner with the Priory Elton Unit to find a compassionate, dedicated, and resilient Healthcare Assistant to join their specialist team in Bury.

The Elton Unit is a 28-bedded, specialist residential and nursing care home dedicated to supporting adults (aged 18+) living with acquired brain injuries and complex needs, including those with a prolonged disorder of consciousness (PDOC). In this deeply rewarding role, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialist practitioners to enhance the quality of life, dignity, and independence of the residents.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care, serving as a vital support system for residents as they navigate daily life and work toward personal goals.

Personalised Care: Assist with personal care and daily living tasks, prioritizing the choices and independence of each resident.
Community & Engagement: Encourage and facilitate participation in activities, hobbies, and community life.
Goal Setting: Act as a key worker for specific individuals, helping them set, track, and achieve their personal milestones.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, care plans, charts, and daily progress notes.
Relationship Building: Foster positive, trusting relationships with service users, their families, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold strict safety, security, and confidentiality standards in line with company policies and regulatory frameworks.
