At Supportive Bridge, we connect enthusiastic, customer-focused health and leisure professionals with rewarding, community-driven roles across the UK sports sector. Partnering with leading leisure operators and trusts, we specialize in placing candidates into stable, long-term careers where your vigilance, safety expertise, and customer care help maintain vibrant, accessible, and safe aquatic facilities for everyone.
As a full-time Lifeguard working on behalf of Leisure Solutions Community Trust (LSCT) at Woughton Leisure Centre, you will be an integral part of the facility's daily operations. Swimming pools are the beating heart of our leisure hubs, and without lifeguards, pool activities cannot run.
You will ensure that all visitors can use the pool safely, maintain immaculate standards of cleanliness in the pool area, manage equipment set-up safely, and—when needed—step in to save lives. This is a vital, purposeful role offering fantastic training, a supportive close-knit team, and clear pathways for career progression.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in and around the pool area.
Equipment Handling: Ensure the safe handling, setup, and storage of pool equipment.
We are looking for a safety-conscious team player with strong communication skills, an outgoing "people person" attitude, and elite aquatic competencies.
Mandatory Qualification: It is essential that you hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS).
Swimming Proficiency: Strong, confident swimming skills capable of meeting rigorous safety standards.
Customer Service Experience: Proven background in delivering customer care, whether gained in a leisure setting or another customer-facing environment.
Attributes: High levels of vigilance, safety-consciousness, composure under pressure, and flexibility with working hours (including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends).
Vetting Readiness: Compliance with pre-employment checks, which may include a DBS check.
Financial Package: Competitive starting salary of up to £26,510 per annum.
Leave & Pension: 21 days annual leave pro-rata plus bank holidays, alongside up to a 6% contributory pension scheme.

Health & Wellbeing: 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme, Bupa Anytime HealthLine, virtual GP service, wellbeing app, and free membership for Serco-managed leisure centres.
Perks & Community: Around 1,000 high street retail discounts, a paid volunteering day, payroll-giving charity options, and active employee inclusion networks.
