About the Role

As a Bank Activities Coordinator at Shawford Springs Care Home, you will help create a stimulating, vibrant environment that enables us to deliver exceptional all-round care and support.

Working flexibly on a casual bank contract, your ethos will be all about celebrating life. You will devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities tailored to every resident's unique interests and abilities. A significant part of your role will involve getting to know residents and their families to build personalized programs focused on maximizing wellbeing, independence, and social engagement both within the home and the wider community. (Note: A full driving licence and access to your own transport is desirable if you wish to pick up additional shifts across other local homes in our Bank Pool).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver imaginative, fun, and motivational activity programs tailored to individual resident needs and abilities.

• Spend quality time getting to know residents and families to shape meaningful activity schedules.

• Promote social engagement, independence, and active community involvement.

• Inspire residents and staff with your infectious enthusiasm and creative approach.

• Provide flexible bank cover on days as and when required to support the home.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Similar experience is ideal, but not essential—comprehensive training and professional development will be provided!

• Desirable: A full driving licence and access to your own transport (to cover shifts across local homes via the Bank Pool if desired).
