Role: Employee Relations Specialist - Grievances
Location: Lidl House, 14 Kingston Road, Surbiton, London (KT5 9NU)
Salary: £52,800 to £70,400 per annum (depending on experience, includes 10% non-contractual London Weighting)

Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a curious, collaborative, and dedicated Employee Relations Specialist - Grievances in Surbiton, London. In this newly created role within our dynamic Head Office HR team, you will help shape a brand-new Employee Relations team dedicated to nationwide grievance management.

Case Management: Manage and coordinate formal and informal grievance cases, conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings, and lead any required disciplinary processes.
Advisory & Coaching: Provide practical ER guidance and coaching to managers, offering feedback on case learnings while ensuring full compliance with employment legislation and the ACAS code of practice.
Documentation & Communication: Draft outcome letters, maintain accurate case documentation, and foster a positive, professional workplace culture.
Best Practice: Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR developments to share best practices with a range of stakeholders.
A legal qualification or CIPD Level 7 (with specialist EL/advanced EL optional units) is desirable.
Significant Employee Relations experience, advising middle management with up-to-date labour law knowledge.
Proven experience leading grievance investigations, handling complex/sensitive matters, and overseeing a busy caseload while staying calm and solution-focused.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong Microsoft Office/Google and HR software proficiency.
Experience within a retail or hospitality environment would be a distinct advantage.
