About this role
Turning Point is recruiting a full-time, permanent Practitioner Psychologist for a newly formed team in its City & Hackney Recovery service in London, a free and confidential drug and alcohol service delivered with Mind, NHS Homerton and London Friend.
What you will do:
- Give clinical guidance, training and leadership to a team delivering psychosocial interventions to individuals and groups
- Oversee the governance of these services
- Carry a small caseload of people with complex needs, giving specialist psychological assessments and therapy
- Help shape the service and build links with statutory and voluntary partners
What they ask for:
- A doctorate and current HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist, or registration with UKCP, BPC or BACP as a Psychotherapist (SCoPEd Column C psychotherapists welcome)
- Experience of leading and supervising clinical staff, ideally in substance use services
Pay stated by the employer: starting at £61,526, rising to £71,358 per year (including inner London weighting). Closing date: 18 November 2026.
