ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care that Barchester Healthcare is renowned for. Working closely alongside the General Manager—and taking full leadership responsibility in their absence—your duties will cover all aspects of care standards and team motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents enjoy the highest quality of life.
Lead by example through supervised clinical practice, regular audits, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
Develop and execute clinical strategies to achieve excellence in care delivery.
Conduct risk assessments, oversee clinical management, and drive continuous improvement across the home.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and skilled nursing leader who thrives in an engaging and energetic care environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Qualified Registered Nurse (RN / RMN) with an active, current NMC registration.
A recognized teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Proven experience supporting residents with diverse and complex health needs.
Successful track record in managing clinical risk assessments and safeguarding investigations.
Experience supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship programs.
Working knowledge of HR processes, budget management, and sales/marketing in a care setting.
