This role offers an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated Children’s Nurse to deliver personalized, specialist community care to children and young people with highly complex physical health needs.
In this full-time position, you will work within an established city-wide service providing bespoke care packages across home, school, and community environments. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing care, building rewarding therapeutic relationships with families, and supervising team members to ensure excellent clinical standards.
Role Description
As a Nursing Care Co-ordinator, you will deliver direct clinical care, co-ordinate complex care packages for technology-dependent children, and provide training and supervision to healthcare assistants and family members.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to children with complex physical health needs in community settings.
Provide comprehensive clinical training, guidance, and supervision to healthcare assistants, parents, and family carers.
Manage day-to-day team operations in the absence of the Team Leader and collaborate across wider specialist pediatric nursing teams.
Requirements
Registered Children’s Nurse (RSCN / RN Child Branch) or Registered Adult/Learning Disabilities Nurse with active NMC registration.
Degree in Nursing with significant experience as a Children's Nurse and proven clinical assessment skills.
Must be a licensed car driver with access to a vehicle for community travel.
Benefits
Competitive calculated hourly rate of £20.49 to £24.68 per hour (based on £39,959 - £48,117 per annum across 37.5 hours per week).
