Shifts: Mixed (Days or Nights Available / Flexible Bank Contract)

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting compassionate Bank Care Assistants on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the team at Ashcombe House Care Home in Basingstoke.

In this fulfilling position, you will help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive high-quality, dignified care and warm companionship. Every shift brings varied and rewarding work—from following tailored care plans and helping with meal times to spending valuable one-on-one time sharing stories and creating great memories with residents.

What You'll Do

• Personalized Care: Assist residents with daily tasks, personal care, mobility, and nutritional support in accordance with individual care plans.

• Companionship: Spend quality one-on-one time connecting with residents, offering friendly conversation, and supporting their emotional wellbeing.

• Dynamic Teamwork: Work adaptively alongside nursing and care staff to maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe care environment.

• Flexible Shift Cover: Provide essential shift coverage across day or night shifts during staff holidays, sickness, or peak operational periods.

About You

• Experience: Previous experience caring for older individuals in either a formal care setting or a personal capacity.

• Key Strengths: Excellent communication skills, strong empathy, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.

• Core Qualities: Warm-hearted, dependable, and deeply committed to delivering respectful, person-centered elderly care.
