Ashridge provides a homely environment for 18 adult males and females with a primary learning disability diagnosis. Using a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach, our goal is to empower residents to develop the skills they need to live healthier, happier, and more independent lives back in the community.

As a Support Worker and Key Worker, no two days will be the same. You will experience the highs and lows alongside our residents, helping them achieve their personal goals and live their very best lives.

Key Responsibilities

Person-Centred Care: Provide high-quality personal care and support with daily living tasks, prioritizing dignity, independence, and choice.
Community Integration: Encourage and assist residents to participate in hobbies, activities, and community life.
Key Working: Act as a key worker for specific individuals, helping them set personal goals, track their progress, and realize their potential.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, care plans, charts, and daily notes.
Relationship Building: Develop strong, positive relationships with service users, their families, your colleagues, and external stakeholders.
Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality in strict alignment with policies and regulations.
