Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Five Rivers for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join River Valley School in Sheffield, UK.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing team within a purpose-built school supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. As an HLTA, you will work in a trauma-informed environment, helping students achieve their educational goals while supporting teachers in delivering engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering personalised learning.
Assist children with their educational and emotional development.
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with staff to support students with SEMH needs.
Provide support within the school and local 1 ACE provision when required.

Requirements

Experience in education or a passion for supporting young people.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid UK Driving Licence is desirable.
Right to Work in the UK.
Commitment to safeguarding and supporting children.
