About the Role

As a permanent Food & Beverage Assistant at Cedars Care Home, you will play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families, and visitors.

From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining areas are spotless, comfortable, and inviting, you will help make every mealtime a positive, uplifting part of the day. Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us deliver the exceptional standards Barchester is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, presentation, and serving of meals, snacks, and refreshments.

• Ensure dining areas, tables, and equipment are kept clean, tidy, and welcoming.

• Support day-to-day catering, hospitality, and kitchen operations as required.

• Interact warmly with residents during mealtimes, providing attentive and person-centred service.

• Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team on a permanent part-time contract (15 hours per week).
