Ryeish Green is a completely modern development of self-contained flats supporting 5 adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Each flat is fully equipped with its own kitchen, living area, and private garden space. For our waking night team, the service features a dedicated staff room complete with its own bathroom and shower facility. The Role & Key Responsibilities

As a Waking Night Support Worker, your ultimate goal is to maintain a safe, secure, and nurturing environment through the night, contributing to CareTech's mission of delivering “Extraordinary Days, Every Day.” Your duties will include:

Overnight Monitoring: Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the 5 residents during the night shifts.
Person-Centred Care: Delivering support in line with individual care plans and assisting with personal care or emotional reassurance if a resident wakes.
Independence & Dignity: Promoting independence and daily living skills, helping residents prepare for the day ahead or wind down safely.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate, professional night-time logs and records to pass on to the day team.
Team & Environment: Ensuring the safety and security of the building, and working effectively as a key part of the team.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: No previous care experience is required! If you are naturally caring, alert, and possess a positive, resilient attitude, we will provide full training and a structured induction programme.
Attributes: Patient, respectful, and fully confident working independently during the quiet night hours.
Skills: Effective communication skills alongside basic IT and written abilities.
Qualifications: A willingness to work towards a fully funded Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
Driving Licence: Desirable, but not essential due to nearby public transport links.
