About the Role
Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is thrilled to partner with Avery Healthcare to recruit an inspirational, experienced, and dedicated General Manager for Chertsey Parklands Manor Care Home in Chertsey.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will lead and inspire a passionate team to deliver excellent, person-centred quality care in a safe, stimulating environment. You will ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and business performance targets while cultivating a warm, caring culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care grounded in best practices.
Take full responsibility for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and professional development of the home's staff team.
Act as the primary focal point for residents, relatives, visitors, and external health and social care professionals.
Ensure safe staffing levels are continuously reviewed and maintained in line with occupancy and dependency needs.
Provide ongoing, inspirational leadership and management to empower your team.
Manage financial performance effectively, ensuring costs are controlled within budgets through regular reviews and stock monitoring.

What We Are Looking For:
Experience: A minimum of four years of management experience within a similar care environment.
Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care (or equivalent).
Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, management, and organizational abilities.
Communication & IT: Strong verbal and written communication skills, alongside solid IT competence.
Flexibility: Adaptability to respond to a dynamic environment and cover critical responsibilities when needed.
