About the Role & Programme
Supportive Bridge Staffing is recruiting a Trainee English Teacher on behalf of Lift Richmond Park in East Sheen, South West London. Delivered in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, this school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Apprenticeship route allows you to earn a London-weighted salary while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a Level 6 Apprenticeship—with zero tuition fees.
You will spend the majority of your time gaining practical classroom teaching experience in a high-performing secondary school environment, putting pedagogical theory into practice with 1-on-1 expert mentoring, weekly structured training sessions, and an intensive two-week Summer School to prepare you before the academic year starts.

Eligibility & Entry Requirements
Degree: Undergraduate degree with a 2:2 classification or above (by the start of the programme). A degree in English or a related subject field is preferred; alternatively, a strong A-Level in English Language (Grade C or above) will be considered.
GCSEs: Grade 4/C or above in GCSE English & Mathematics (or equivalent).
QTS & Residency: Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Must possess full Right to Work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
