Support Bridge Staffing Agency is looking for a motivated and commercially minded Buyer to join our client's dynamic Procurement team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career in procurement, gaining hands-on experience across the full sourcing and contract lifecycle.
In this role, you will work closely with Category Managers, Senior Buyers, Procurement Business Partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective sourcing solutions. You will take ownership of your own tactical procurement projects while supporting larger, more complex initiatives alongside experienced procurement professionals.
Sourcing & Project Management: Manage tactical procurement projects, ensuring all sourcing activity aligns with governance frameworks and requirements from initial brief through to contract award.
Complex Sourcing Support: Assist Category Managers and Senior Buyers with larger and more complex strategic procurement initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to understand business requirements and help develop appropriate, value-driven procurement strategies.
Market Analysis & RFx Execution: Conduct market research, identify potential suppliers, and manage the end-to-end RFx process—including developing documentation, evaluation models, and handling supplier queries.
Negotiation & Contracts: Support commercial negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes and assist with contract development, approval, and signature processes.
Data & Continuous Improvement: Maintain accurate supplier, contract, and catalogue records while identifying process improvements to increase value and preferred supplier usage.
Qualifications: A degree (preferably in Business or a related subject), or progress toward / completion of a CIPS qualification.
Core Experience: A working understanding of sourcing, procurement, and contract lifecycle management.
Technical Skills: Experience using eSourcing platforms to run or support sourcing events, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative, confident approach.
