Supportive Bridge is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for a Housekeeping Assistant to join the team at Richmond Village Witney in Oxfordshire.

This is a great opportunity to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. You'll play an important role in ensuring high housekeeping standards while supporting the wellbeing and comfort of residents in a luxury retirement village.

Key Responsibilities

Clean residents' rooms, communal areas, and care home facilities.
Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners and floor polishers.
Wash, dry, and iron residents' clothing and bedding.
Empty bins and maintain clean public areas.
Follow infection control, COSHH, and health & safety procedures.
Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent housekeeping services.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping or domestic cleaning experience.
Basic knowledge of infection control and COSHH procedures.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to complete a DBS check.
