We are currently seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant on behalf of our partner, Avery Healthcare, at their luxury Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood.
Your core focus will be supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring resident wellbeing and ensuring care plans reflect changing needs, updating written records accordingly.
Participating in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting junior colleagues with their professional development.
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and health professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns are escalated appropriately.

Our Ideal Candidate Must Have:
An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care.
At least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
A positive, nurturing attitude toward supporting both residents and staff.
Responsiveness and flexibility to cover varying responsibilities.
A satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (costs covered by the employer).
Valid proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
