ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare’s Lindum House Care Home, you will enjoy a casual, flexible role providing cover as needed (such as for annual leave or peak times). Working alongside the Deputy General Manager, you will lead and inspire Care Assistants while supporting the home's clinical operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Team Supervision: Mentor, motivate, and guide Care Assistants on shift to maintain high standards of person-centred support.
Clinical Support: Assist the clinical team with medication administration, resident assessments, care planning, and regular reviews.
Dignified Care: Champion resident dignity, choice, and independence while fostering a warm, vibrant, and safe environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a dedicated and warm-hearted care leader with specialized knowledge in elderly care and a passion for personalized support.
Requirements & Skills:
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Elderly Care Knowledge: Proven expertise in clinical care practices tailored to older adults.
Leadership Abilities: Strong interpersonal and motivational skills to guide shift teams effectively.
Compassionate Mindset: A respectful, empathetic approach focused on individualized resident care.
