About the Role
We are recruiting a Bank Senior Care Assistant to provide casual, flexible supervisory cover at Maple Leaf Lodge Care Home in Grantham.
In this pivotal role, you will enjoy total schedule flexibility—choosing from day or night shifts to suit your lifestyle—while supervising care staff and supporting clinical operations. Working alongside the Deputy General Manager, you will lead shift teams, assist with medication and care reviews, and ensure residents receive dignified, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, guide, and motivate Care Assistants during day or night bank shifts.
Support the clinical team with medication management, resident assessments, and care plan reviews.
Ensure person-centred care that upholds the dignity, choices, and preferences of every resident.
Provide reliable cover for planned absences, leave, and busy operational periods.
Maintain clear communication and effective handover records for the wider care team.
About You
To join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will bring:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Proven experience and clinical care knowledge in elderly care.
Strong leadership abilities with a warm, compassionate, and reassuring approach.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
