Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant / MSK Physician

Supportive Bridge Limited is recruiting on behalf of Bupa for an experienced Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant / MSK Physician to join its multidisciplinary Musculoskeletal (MSK) team across Manchester, UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled clinician looking to work in a flexible self-employed role while delivering exceptional evidence-based care to patients with sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Working alongside experienced physiotherapists, consultants, and healthcare professionals, you will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of MSK conditions using the latest clinical approaches. This role offers flexible working arrangements, an established referral pathway, and the opportunity to further develop your clinical expertise within one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver specialist consultations for patients with sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Assess, diagnose, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Perform clinical procedures appropriate to Sports and Exercise Medicine practice.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary MSK team.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
Participate in clinical reviews and continuing professional development activities.
Provide outstanding patient experience through excellent communication and clinical expertise.

Requirements

GMC registration with a Licence to Practise.
Listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Sport and Exercise Medicine.
CCT (or equivalent) in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine or Sports & Exercise Medicine.
Significant experience within a multidisciplinary MSK environment.
Experience treating sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Excellent communication, organisational, and clinical decision-making skills.
Private healthcare experience is desirable.
