Attendance & Engagement: Identify root causes of student absence, conduct home and community visits where appropriate, and create practical attendance improvement plans alongside school staff.
Student Advocacy & Nurture: Support students facing complex challenges (including those at risk of exclusion), ensure the child's voice is heard, and assist in coordinating nurture and resilience interventions.
Data & Targeted Interventions: Analyze attendance trends and performance data to inform early interventions and evaluate support effectiveness.
Safeguarding & Multi-Agency Collaboration: Prepare safeguarding reports, attend statutory/multi-agency meetings, draft referrals, and collaborate with external professionals to ensure pupil safety and welfare.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 (Grade C) or equivalent.
Proven experience engaging hard-to-reach families through home/community visits.

Experience utilizing performance/attendance data to inform decision-making.
Exceptional de-escalation, interpersonal, and communication skills under pressure.
