In this vital support role, you will assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the catering facilities. Working collaboratively under the direction of the Head Chef, you will help ensure food safety regulations are followed while supporting the delivery of fresh, delicious meals for care home residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sandwiches, and handling ingredients.

• Clean cooking utensils, pots, and kitchen work surfaces while maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards.

• Ensure proper storage of dry and perishable goods as well as safe handling of cleaning supplies.

Requirements
