About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) to join the award-winning team at Aran Court Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team on a flexible basis, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and laundry are consistently maintained throughout the home, upholding exceptional hotel-level service standards while keeping residents' environments pristine, safe, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all daily cleaning and laundry duties strictly in accordance with worksheet instructions and standard operating procedures.
Understand the specific cleaning requirements of various surfaces, floor coverings, and textiles, alongside the proper application of cleaning materials.
Maintain a well-presented, safe, and pleasant environment across all areas of the care home.
Ensure all residents are treated with utmost dignity and respect, always safeguarding their personal space and belongings.
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge: Familiarity with essential Health and Safety regulations, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
Experience: Previous experience cleaning or handling laundry within a public setting or similar professional environment.
