Salary: From £48,319 per annum (negotiable dependent on experience/skill set) + £1,000 Welcome Bonus
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week, including weekends on a rota)
As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will work hand-in-hand with the Home Manager to lead, support, and mentor the care team. You will oversee all aspects of nursing care and activities, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care, regulatory compliance, and resident wellbeing.
Clinical & Care Oversight: Oversee and assist with all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home, ensuring electronic care plans and medication records remain clear, accurate, and up-to-date.
Team Leadership & Guidance: Provide day-to-day clinical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to empower the care team while delegating tasks effectively.
Resource Management: Ensure correct staffing levels are consistently maintained through efficient rota management.
Community & Partnership Building: Build lasting, meaningful relationships with residents, their families, and local partners to raise the care home's profile within the wider community.
Quality & Compliance: Champion CQC standards, promote resident independence, choice, and dignity, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience: Proven background working as a Deputy Manager or in a senior clinical leadership role within a care home environment.
Clinical Expertise: A deep understanding of quality nursing care, CQC standards, and compliance.
Leadership Qualities: Natural leadership skills, strong emotional intelligence, and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge and experience of electronic care planning systems being highly desirable.
