Role Overview
Position: Care Leader / Senior Carer
Location: Avonbourne Care Centre, Mitre Way, Salisbury, SP4 6GW
Pay Rate: £15.97 per hour (Mon–Fri) | £16.37 per hour (Weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent, 25 hours per week
Closing Date: Monday, 31st August 2026

What You Will Be Doing
Leading and motivating a small team of carers to deliver outstanding daily care to residents.
Supporting the Home Manager by planning, implementing, and regularly reviewing resident care plans through continuous assessment and evaluation.
Balancing time effectively between guiding your team, supporting staff inductions, and ensuring the absolute wellbeing and safety of residents.
What We Are Looking For
Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a residential care setting, holding an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or holding NVQ Level 2 with a willingness to study for Level 3).
Supervisory skills: Previous experience with task delegation or 1-to-1 support is a bonus, but a positive, can-do attitude and strong leadership potential are what matter most.
Key Traits: Excellent communication skills, a natural ability to motivate others, and the confidence to use your own initiative to solve problems.
