About the Role
We are recruiting a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to provide casual, flexible cover at Newton House Care Home in Grantham.
In this essential role, you will help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout resident bedrooms, communal areas, and facilities. By keeping the home clean, safe, and tidy, you will play a direct role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues while enjoying complete flexibility over your work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine domestic duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal living spaces.
Ensure all areas meet strict cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards.
Use cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals safely according to COSHH guidelines.
Interact warmly and respectfully with residents to maintain a peaceful, homely atmosphere.
Provide flexible cover for planned absences, sick leave, and peak operational periods.
