Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is actively recruiting for Riddrie House, a specialized 32-bedded rehabilitation service in Glasgow designed for adults with enduring mental health needs. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a highly dedicated team and play a pivotal role in helping service users rebuild their confidence, develop vital life skills, and live their absolute best lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you will be part of a compassionate team utilizing personalized, proven therapies to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery. Your responsibilities will include:

Direct Care & Support: Providing personal care and assisting with essential daily living tasks.
Goal Setting & Progress: Acting as a key worker for specific individuals, helping them set personal goals, track their progress, and achieve their outcomes in the way they choose.
Community Integration: Encouraging and assisting residents to actively participate in home activities and local community life, promoting choice and independence at all times.
Clinical Assistance: Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans while maintaining accurate records, charts, and daily notes.
Relationship Building: Developing positive, respectful relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and community stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Empathy & Respect: A naturally caring, patient, and respectful approach to supporting others through their highs and lows.
Resilience: Mental health rehabilitation is incredibly fulfilling but requires a resilient mindset—no two days are ever the same!
Strong Communication: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a commitment to upholding professional standards and safety policies.
Experience: Prior mental health experience in a care or support setting is desirable, but not essential—comprehensive training is fully provided.
