About the Role
Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Lidl to recruit a consistent, proactive, and dedicated Warehouse Shift Leader in Exeter. In this management role, you will help run operations in one of our busy warehouses, leading by example and seeing the direct impact of your work at the end of every shift.
From opening, running, and closing shifts to mentoring new starters and motivating your team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining smooth, efficient warehouse operations while building your management career.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Line manage a fantastic team, providing ongoing coaching, training, and development to help them succeed.
Shift Management: Lead shifts for your area, taking responsibility for colleague performance, direct reports, and smooth daily operations.
Collaboration: Work closely with other Shift Leaders across departments and support your Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management.
Operational Excellence: Perform general warehouse operative duties such as moving stock, picking goods, processing returns, and promoting efficient working methods.
